Responding to the Rohingya Issue
– Inter-governmental Conference, FORUM-ASIA, SAPA, APRRN
On May 29, the inter-governmental conference on migration “Special Meeting on Irregular Migration in the Indian Ocean” was hosted by the Thai government in Bangkok, Thailand and attended by 17 countries, including the concerned countries Indonesia, Malaysia, Burma, and Thailand. This special meeting on the Southeast Asia migrant crisis was aimed to find ways to stamp out the region’s migrant crisis.
ADN, as an international network of regional and sub-regional civil society organizations engaged in defending democracy and human rights, will continue to update you on the developments on this issue.
